Slime Out Fish Weather Events

Luck, mutations, weather fish, and Starlight via Thunder Siam.

Weather Events

Weather in Slime Out Fish is a rotation you can plan around, not random chrome. Each sky changes luck, mutated spawn rate, specialty fish odds, or weather-fish availability. Catching through the right window—and turning weather fish in to Thunder Siam at map center—separates steady Cash grinders from players who also bank Starlight for long-term power. This page is the reference table plus a farming plan. Patch notes on the weather update and Updates Hub override numbers if Scale the Deeps ships a balance change.

WeatherMain effectsPractical use
SunnyNo special bonusMaintenance casting, scaling backlog, safe time to shop upgrades
NightSome fish gain spawn chanceIndex completion and specialty commons/rares while Cash still flows
Aurora2× mutated spawns + weather fishMutation index pushes; save luck potions; catch weather fish for Starlight
Rainy1.2× luckLight boost session; good bait value without burning top totems
Thunder1.5× luck + 5 weather fishStrong general farm; prioritize weather-fish captures for Thunder Siam
Meteor2× luck + 2× mutated + 2 weather fishBest combined window; Meteor weather fish ≈ 1715 Starlight each

Sunny and Night last longer in typical rotations; Aurora, Rainy, Thunder, and Meteor are shorter burst windows. Exact minute timers can shift with updates—watch the in-game weather timer rather than memorizing a stopwatch from an old clip.

Weather fish and Thunder Siam

Weather fish appear during Aurora, Thunder, and Meteor. Thunder floods the water with five; Meteor spawns only two but each Meteor weather fish is the premium Starlight payout (~1715). Aurora also contributes weather fish you should not ignore while hunting mutations.

Pipeline:

  1. Spot the weather change early.
  2. Cast with bait ready so multi-catch capacity does not strand you on single bites—see bait and boosts.
  3. Secure weather fish first when they are up; normal rares can wait a cast.
  4. After the burst (or between bites if safe), scale other fish for Cash via ducks.
  5. Deliver weather fish to Thunder Siam standing in the map center for Starlight.

Starlight is not a substitute for Cash—you still need knives and rods—but it fuels the progression layer that plain Sunny grinding does not. Ignoring Thunder Siam during Meteor is leaving a jackpot on the pier.

How to play each sky

Sunny — Process inventory, redeem codes, buy the next balanced upgrade from the upgrade checklist, and set bait counts. Do not waste Luck Potion II here.

Night — Keep casting; certain fish are favored even without a global luck multiplier. Pair with index checks so you notice new logs.

Aurora — Pop luck or totem boosts if you have them. Focus mutated targets and weather fish. Perfect scrapes still matter for Cash—dull knives waste the event. Review Perfect Scaling if your perfect rate slips under pressure.

Rainy — Comfortable 1.2× luck farm. Good time for mid rods (Bamboo, Carbon Fiber, or climbing toward Lightning / Ice Arrow / Crystalline) to show value. See rods tier list.

Thunder — 1.5× luck plus five weather fish. Clear weather fish aggressively, then convert at Thunder Siam. Still feed ducks for Cash between trips.

Meteor — Highest priority sky. 2× luck, 2× mutated, two elite weather fish. Pre-position at the dock, have knife sharpness ready, and treat the six-ish minutes as a raid timer. Scale after the fish are secured if multitasking costs you spawns.

Consumables and gear synergy

Bait multi-catch capacity (~$30+) multiplies how much of a short Meteor or Thunder window you capture. Luck potions and Lucky Totems should be reserved for Aurora, Thunder, or Meteor unless you are deliberately finishing a tiny index gap. Strength potions help when rod strength gates the fish you care about—pair them with a rod that already has competitive depth and luck.

A sharp knife from the knives tier list turns event hauls into Cash quickly after the sky flips back to Sunny. A weak knife leaves a post-event backlog while the next weather is already ticking.

Session template

  1. Join a server (max six players) and note current weather plus time remaining.
  2. If a high sky is under two minutes away, delay big shop trips.
  3. On Aurora / Thunder / Meteor: bait on, luck on, weather fish first, Thunder Siam turn-ins, then duck feeds.
  4. On Sunny: upgrade tools, clear scrapes, plan the next spend.
  5. After patches, reread weather update notes and adjust.

Common weather mistakes

  • Burning totems on Sunny.
  • Ignoring Thunder’s five weather fish because “Cash comes from ducks only.”
  • Missing Meteor’s two weather fish while chasing random mutated vanity.
  • Shopping mid-Meteor instead of casting.
  • Forgetting Thunder Siam’s map-center location until the fish despawn pressure hits.

Weather literacy is mandatory mid-game play in Slime Out Fish. Combine this table with How to Earn Cash and Getting Started and every sky becomes a scheduled earning block instead of a surprise.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Slime Out Fish questions.

What is the best weather in Slime Out Fish?

Meteor is the strongest combined window: 2× luck, 2× mutated spawns, and two weather fish worth about 1715 Starlight each at Thunder Siam.

Where do I turn in weather fish?

Take them to Thunder Siam in the center of the map to receive Starlight.

Which weathers spawn weather fish?

Aurora, Thunder, and Meteor. Thunder spawns five; Meteor spawns two high-value fish; Aurora also includes weather fish alongside 2× mutated spawns.

Should I use luck potions during Rainy?

Rainy already grants 1.2× luck and is fine for normal bait fishing. Save the strongest potions and totems for Aurora, Thunder, or Meteor when possible.

Does Sunny do anything?

Sunny has no combat-style bonus. Use it to scale inventory, redeem codes, and buy balanced rod or knife upgrades before the next event sky.
