Slime Out Fish Starlight Farming

Starlight is the weather-track currency in Slime Out Fish—earned primarily by handing weather fish to Thunder Siam at map center, then spent on skins, titles, totems, boxes, and specialty rod cosmetics that Cash alone does not cover. This guide focuses on farming routes, known payouts, and shop examples without inventing a fake full price list. Pair it with the multiplier tables on Weather Events and the patch story on the Weather System update.

Cash still buys rods and knives. Starlight buys the weather meta. Accounts that ignore Thunder Siam can look rich in Cash while falling behind on event cosmetics, Climate Collector-style titles, and totem stockpiles.

Thunder Siam basics

Thunder Siam stands toward the center of the map. When Aurora, Thunder, or Meteor is active, weather fish become the priority catch. Secure them, keep them out of auto-sell scripts, walk to Thunder Siam, and turn them in for Starlight. After turn-ins, resume normal scrape → duck feed loops so your Cash upgrades do not stall—see How to Earn Cash.

If the NPC interaction fails after a lag spike, rejoin or wait a second for replication. Confirm the currency tick in your HUD before assuming the hand-in worked.

Aurora and Thunder favor volume. Meteor favors Starlight per fish. In a short session, a clean Meteor hand-in of both fish (~3430 Starlight if both pay ~1715) can beat a messy Thunder where you miss half the spawns. In a long grind night, Thunder’s five-fish windows stack relationship progress and shop unlocks faster.

Sunny and Night do not replace this loop. Use them to clear scrape backlog, buy knives, and stage bait for the next event—timing covered again on Weather Events.

Free Starlight from codes

The weather promo code often grants 1,000 Starlight (some trackers still list a Weather Totem instead—redeem and check inventory). That head start matters when the Starlight shop’s cheaper totems or early cosmetics are still locked behind a grind. Full active strings live on the Codes Hub; redeem before a planned Meteor so you are not typing Settings mid-timer.

Do not expect codes to replace Thunder Siam forever. Codes are spikes; weather fish are the renewable farm.

1. Totems and potions that multiply future Starlight or Cash farms.
2. Permanent helpers such as the Thunder Siam animal if the +10% money note matches your live tooltip.
3. Titles when you want the flex.
4. Expensive rod skins like Starling Night after your Cash gear is not embarrassing.

Buying an 8k Starlight cosmetic while your knife still fails perfects is a vanity trap. Stabilize scrape income first via Perfect Scaling thinking, then flex.

Session template for Starlight

1. Redeem codes (weather and Cash codes).
2. Check weather timer; if Meteor/Thunder/Aurora is under a few minutes away, finish shop trips early.
3. Pre-load bait capacity so multi-catch does not leave weather fish on the table—see bait and boosts.
4. On event skies: weather fish first, Thunder Siam turn-in, then duck feeds for Cash.
5. On Sunny: scrape backlog, knife/rod balance, plan the next Starlight purchase.
6. After major patches, reread the Weather System update in case shop SKUs moved.

Private servers help when public docks contest the same five Thunder fish. Public servers are fine when you only need a couple of Meteor hand-ins and the water is calm.

Gear that secretly farms Starlight

Starlight is a weather-fish problem, but gear still matters:

• Rod luck/depth raises your chance to actually land the event fish before the timer dies.
• Knife sharpness clears non-weather inventory fast so bag space stays open for the next weather fish.
• Bait capacity multiplies rolls inside short Meteor windows.
• Luck Potion II / Lucky Totem should align with Aurora, Thunder, or Meteor—not Sunny AFK.

A strong rod with a full inventory is still a failed farm. Clear space before the sky flips.
